Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and management of the operating theatre environment.

• Provide patient care during anaesthesia induction and recovery.

• Assist anaesthetists during procedures, ensuring patient safety at all times.

• Maintain sterile fields and support the theatre team during surgeries.

• Monitor patients post-surgery, ensuring effective pain management and recovery.

• Adhere to all hospital policies and regulations to maintain a high standard of care.

• Provide clear and accurate patient documentation.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Enrolled Nurse qualification.

• Current registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).

• Theatre and Anaesthetics experience.

• Knowledge of anaesthetic procedures and post-operative care.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Compassionate, empathetic, and committed to patient care.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
