Job Overview

As an RN in the Cath Lab and Cardiac Scrub unit, you will play a crucial role in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions. Your expertise will contribute to the success of various cardiac procedures, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Assist in cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and other interventional procedures.
Prepare and maintain a sterile field during procedures.
Monitor patients’ vitals and provide necessary post-operative care.
Collaborate with cardiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals.
Educate patients and their families about procedures and recovery processes.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
Qualification: registered with SANC
Experience: minimum of 2 years in a Cath Lab or Cardiac Scrub role.
Certifications: BLS and ACLS certification required; additional certifications are a plus.
Skills: strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
