Job Title: Registered Nurse (Medical Ward)

We are seeking compassionate Registered Nurses to join Medical Wards in Gauteng. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and wellness in alignment with industry standards and the protocols set by the South African Nursing Council (SANC). You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and families to provide holistic support for patients in a specialised unit, while supervising allocated team members.
Key Responsibilities
Perform nursing duties in line with SANC, DOH, and National Core standards.
Supervise and lead the team to ensure quality care, meeting therapeutic standards and goals.
Participate in internal and external audits.
Maintain accurate patient records, conduct ward rounds, and work with doctors to create and implement care plans.
Monitor nursing activities to ensure compliance with protocols, patient safety, Group Nursing policies, and SANC requirements during regular unit rounds.
Qualifications & Requirements
Registered Nursing Degree or Diploma.
Current Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
Basic Life Support (BLS) qualification.
Essential experience in a Medical Ward.
Previous experience in a private hospital environment is advantageous.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant computer applications.
