  3. Complete your Staffshift profile and upload your supporting documents 

  4. Complete your face to face or teams interview

Supporting documents required for registration 

Before you begin your registration and compliance process, gather these supporting documents: 

  • South African ID card, or international passport with an active work permit 

  • SANC Number & SANC registration receipt 

  • Police Clearance Certificate 

  • Hepatitis B test results 

  • Nursing training certification and any training certificates you have 

  • Proof of address 

  • Your bank details for payroll 

  • SARS PAYE confirmation letter

Once you have collected the above-mentioned documents, you are ready to finalise your registration and ensure that it runs quickly. You can either upload these documents via Staffshift, or via our dedicated WhatsApp line.

Once this process is complete, we will notify you of your status, and you will be able to view available shifts on your Staffshift app. Please download this from your device's app store and use your email and password to login.  

What information is important during registration, and why? 

Completing your Staffshift profile is a very important part of the registration process. Here are a few guidelines to bear in mind when completing your profile: 

Personal Details

This is your contact information and physical address, your address centers your location, and you are then shown available shifts within a 40km radius of your location. You cannot change your address yourself, so once you have registered and you are working, and you move homes, please contact our support team to assist with updating your location. Your available shifts will then change, too.  

Curriculum Vitae

This section gives our team guidance on your aptitude, interest and experience.  

Experience in recruitment is key, and the more information you capture in this section strengthens your profile. Even 3 months of specialized experience – in a maternity ward for instance – is golden and gives us the opportunity to open new shifts to you. Pay special attention to: 

What happens after your registration? 

Once you have registered, captured your details, and uploaded your documents, our compliance team will check references and verify your documents. Once verified, you will be cleared for work.  

As soon as your registration is complete, you will be contacted via the In-app chat feature on Staffshift or email to book an interview with our team.  

Only once your interview is complete, and your documents are verified, will you be cleared for work, and gain access to the available shifts in your area.  

Regularly check your Compliance Passport, for tips on how to improve your status, get reminders for important documents to renew and get more shifts.
